The drops collection concists of wheelthrown bowls and vessels covered with a special developed stoneware glaze that separates into drops (during firing) leaving bare body patches between. The round vessels pay homage to the traditional korea moon jar. They can stand alone as an art-object or can be used as a vase as they are transparantly glazed on the inside.

The drops Moon Jar is a translation of the Korean Moon Jar. The moon jar _ distinctive for its white color and simple, round shape ― was a conventional style of pottery produced at the kingdom’s kiln complexes in Gwangju, southeast of Seoul, during the 17th and 18th centuries. Critics now commonly call these jars “moon jars” because of their voluminous shape and milky-white glaze. They were made customarily to contain flowers or wine, but they are also ritual, votive vessels.

All items are fired at a high temperature of 1260 degrees which makes them durable and strong.
They are dishwashersafe, but handwash is recommendend.
